The first Andhra Bio-Summit is designed and organized in February 2024 by The Center for Advanced-Applied Biological Sciences & Entrepreneurship (TCABS-E) in collaboration with the department of Biotechnology, Andhra University to provide hands-on practical training and experience to the participating UG/PG students including Research Scholars, Postdocs and faculty members. Hence this colloquium is open to all!

• This colloquium is live-in-person event and will be conducted in the AU campus.

• Online participation might be arranged for participants from out of town with no discounts in the fees.

• Three hands-on live workshops: Bioinformatics, PCR/Gel electrophoresis and Computer-aided drug design.

• Three practical demonstrations: NMR spectral analysis, Mass spectral analysis and Affinity chromatography.

• One full session of elocution competitions for 3 hours and one full session of debate competitions for 3 hours.

• Three full sessions of poster presentations with each session spanning the whole day.

• Winners will be given exciting prizes on the final day in the closing ceremony.

• Exciting cultural programs and music/live band(s) in the closing ceremony.

• Registration fee is mandatory and includes entry and participation in events.

• Workshops, practical demonstrations and lunch are not included in the registration fee. (Fee details).

• Food tokens will be provided to all the registrants who paid the registration fee. These tokens can be used by the participants to purchase food at the designated canteens within AU campus at discounted prices.
