Day-1 (5:30 pm - 6:00 pm): TCABS-E inaugural video displaying the details about TCABS-E and various committees within. Viewers will get a complete idea of what TCABS-E is all about including ABFR-2020.

Day-2 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm):

 

09:00-09:30 am: Introduction to ABFR-2020 by Dr. Ravikiran Yedidi (Founder, TCABS-E).

​

09:30-10:00 am: Introduction to TCABS-E by Instructor at TCABS-E.

​

10:00-10:30 am: Introduction to the "tcabse.org" by the TCABS-E executive board members.

​

10:30-11:30 am: Introduction to the "TCABS-E Internship program" by the current TCABS-E                                           internship trainees.

​

11:30-11:45 am: Short Break!

​

11:45 am-01:00 pm: Introduction to "TCABS-E intramural research programs" by TCABS-E trainees.                                    (Oncology, Infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, Stem cells & the Omics!)

 

01:00-02:00 pm: Lunch break! (e-Posters will be on display)

 

02:00-03:30 pm: Pitch Perfect

03:30-04:00 pm: Talk by Dr. Mandar Kulkarni, CEO of the Vyas Cancer Research Park, VSKP.

 

04:00-04:30 pm: Judges discuss the scores of Pitch Perfect participants and declaration of winners.

Day-3 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm): (e-Posters will be on display throughout the day)

 

09:00-11:00 am: Workshop-1: Biotech or Pharma! Skill-based career decisions. (Please note: Participation in this workshop costs Rs. 500 per head in addition to the ABFR-2020 registration fee).

11:00-11:15 am: Short Break!

 

11:15 am-01-00 pm: Questionnaire! This session is an interactive session between the participants and TCABS-E members regarding careers and relevant questions.

02:00-04:00 pm: Workshop-2: Elements of Bioinformatics for beginners. (Please note: Participation in this workshop costs Rs. 500 per head in addition to the ABFR-2020 registration fee).

09:00-11:00 am: Workshop-3: DNA Sequencing: Basic Sanger sequencing to advanced NGS-based analytics. (Please note: Participation in this workshop costs Rs. 500 per head in addition to the ABFR-2020 registration fee).

11:15 am-01-00 pm: Hot-Seat: What would you do? This session is an interactive session with participants where they have to provide instantaneous solutions for relevant questions.

02:00-04:00 pm: Workshop-4: CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing to improve organic farming. (Please note: Participation in this workshop costs Rs. 500 per head in addition to the ABFR-2020 registration fee).
